LSD Promotions work closely with our Local Authority Partners to promote responsible drinking and the protection of children from harm.
It is against the law to sell alcohol to someone under 18 anywhere in the UK and can lead to a maximum fine of £20,000 (The licensing act 2003) & there are no exceptions to this law.
LSD Promotions enforce a challenge 25 policy on all of our markets and special events. Challenge 25 is a scheme that encourages anyone who is over 18 but looks under 25 to carry acceptable ID to purchase alcohol. It is the traders responsibility to train staff in charge of alcohol sales on your
stall to challenge 25.
Please download the LSD Promotions Policy on responsible alcohol sales below. As part of the downloadable document, you can download a Challenge 25 poster (which must be displayed on your stall) a refusal register that must be completed if a sale is refused and also a form for the personal license holder to authorise sales on their behalf.
If you do not have access to a printer, please let us know at head office and we will be more than happy to print these documents and post them out to you, free of charge.
Please be aware that Temporary Event Notices are required on most sites that we operate. Please make sure you check with our customer service team before applying for a stall on the licensing conditions for that site. All prepaid events are non refundable, which includes any trader who did not obtain a TEN in time for the event.
